What does the role offer?

As a business engineer/technical salesperson in district heating, you will play a central role in developing our business and customer relationships. You will work closely with customers and colleagues in other parts of the organization and be involved all the way – from needs analysis and technical documentation to contracts and implementation.

In this role, you will directly contribute to a sustainable and secure energy system for the residents and businesses of Falkenberg. The role suits you who want to work solution-oriented and create value for both the customer, the business, and the climate.

Examples of responsibilities:

• Develop business and long-term customer relationships in district heating
• Technical advice to new and existing customers
• Prepare quotes, calculations, and decision-making materials
• Dialogue with customers regarding connections, power needs, and energy solutions
• Collaboration with operations, project management, and contractors
• Participation in development projects related to the future of district heating

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a technical background and an interest in business and customer dialogue. You are analytical, structured, and communicative, and enjoy working both independently and together with others. You find it easy to build trust and can explain technical solutions clearly and pedagogically.

You do not need to meet all parts of the requirement profile – we also value motivation, curiosity, and the willingness to develop.

We would like you to have:

• Post-secondary education in technology, energy, or economics, or equivalent experience
• Experience in technical sales, the energy sector, or district heating (preferable)
• Good understanding of business, calculations, and customer benefits
• Driver's license (B) (required)
